"I am one of the best Australians you ever had and I will not be afraid to say this to any one of your colleague MPs :- I know your country more than you do.  I walked all over it as a prospector, I worked underneath as a miner and worked above it as a commercial pilot.  Further, I loved it certainly as much as any one of you do.  I did not hesitate to put my life in the balance for it.  It broke my heart to leave it, but because of your lack of respect to the Promise made, I will never go back."
