1.  The connected, single-set, global extent of their growth (figures below).
2.  The aggregate, spiral symmetry shown by that growth relative to the Earth's rotational axis.
3.  The stepped offsets of transform fault terminations by which the enlargement of the ocean floors is inscripted

 It's hardly credible, but it's true.   If that's not a ludicrous state of affairs, then I don't know what is.  Not only that, but in the aspects of transform faults that it does recognise, plate tectonics also selectively disregards the sectors known as 'fractures' in the dynamics of plate motion,  i.e. the parts of the faults that are no longer active.  In disregarding the older inactive sectors and focussing attention only  on the earthquake-active ridge sectors of transforms and calling them plate boundaries, plate tectonics effectively commits what is exactly the equivalent of throwing away the history books, and presents instead a view of  global geology that is based on what has happened (metaphorically speaking) in the last few minutes, and furthermore declares this 'snapshot' of geological time the touchstone of all geological process.

Now,... no student of geology would get credits for making a geological map that omits faults (or folds) simply because they were no longer active, yet by ignoring the full extent and symmetry of transform faults as tectonic indicators this is precisely what plate tectonics does, and moreover claims its derivative inventions are jewels in the crown of Earth science.    (Geo)-logically speaking, the claim is such asinine, lobotomic, lunatic drivel it leaves one breathless.  Plate tectonics is a concept that was ILL-CONCEIVED in the beginning, has been perpetuated on INVALID ASSUMPTIONS and the CONVENIENCE of a consensus noted for its QUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY, and should be abandoned FORTHWITH.   ....It is a HOUSE OF CARDS with the players ill-disguised jokers, who attend to each other more than the matter in hand, who declare mock horror at any suggestion that their house is without foundation, and who connive to refute that their Emperor's clothes are hardly even burlesque rags.  Pejoratives to describe these three glaring  omissions from  the physical dynamics of plate tectonics cannot be declared strongly enough.  In terms of what scientific endeavour is supposed to be about  plate tectonics is a travesty.  And yet, revered it is.  Why?

The short answer is simply that it pays wages.  The longer answer is exactly the same.  The global aggregate connection of transforms on the ocean floor, their expression in the crust, their helical torsional symmetry,  the way in which they 'ziplock' the so-called 'plates' together are all staring us in the face, plainly describing the progressive, expansional, torsional opening of a single crustal plate symmetrical with the Earth's rotation.  Yet even as it is laid out in front of them adherents of plate tectonics say nothing.  Their silence however is not denial, it is fear - fear to step outside the safety of consensus and examine the evidence, ...fear to examine what they already think they know, ...fear to discard, and more importantly, fear about what this means for restructuring of the politics of consensus.  And wages.  Suddenly 'belief' (contemptuously eschewed by 'real scientists') is being called to account, and the question asked: "What is it about what you think you know, that you really believe?"   Indeed,  "What is it, in fact, that you know?"  No longer does a quick squiz around to see  'who's-looking-at-who'  mean anything. Nor will the utterance of traditional memes, shibboleths and mantras work to oil the consensus machine.   New allegiances are unconditionally called for, based on honest appraisal of the evidence.    It is  A ...Whole ...New ....Game.
