initially posted on the web in the latter half of the year 2000 to draw
attention to the importance of boudinage structure as an organising
principle in locating ore deposits. In fact I have strenuously
promoted it far and wide since the early seventies, believing that doing
so would be advantageous in securing work.
Umm, ...Not so. True, ..seeds sown have grown, ...but not in my backyard. So, in slack periods of employment I have used the model to explore its further extrapolation to crustal tectonics, and the framework this presents for better understanding controls on mineralisation. This aspect has been an immeasurably interesting experience (geologically speaking), and one I would like to share with others if they are willing to contemplate the astoundingly different perspective placed on global geology when the flawed assumptions of plate tectonics are discarded.

free because I think it is important that the deficiences of Plate Tectonics
are highlighted. However if you are interested in the alternative
view of Earth Expansion I hope you may be willing

Think of it as a contribution towards helping to keep the empirical observational science of geology alive rather than than having it based (as it is) in conceptual supposition - "convenient assumption" - and remain simply a vehicle for career professionals whose interest is to maintain a static and moribund consensus view to make their own publication, career advancement and institutional kudos easier to achieve. In this regard John Dewey's observations are pertinent: the Earth sciences are in dire need of rescue. Be part of it and post
